Hi there how's it going?, sorry if this is not the right place to post this question. I use Ableton Live intensively and I like creating projects directly from the file browser as I record. You'll see, if I point for example the no 3 browser's root to a path like "\Volumes\PartLog HD\Ableton..." the option of creating a project from the context menu of the browser is greyed out. Did any of you guys had a similar problem before? I'm using Live 7.0.10, OSX 10.5.5 and a partitioned hard drive.

Create a folder outside your Ableton map (like C:\My ableton projects).
Click it in the ableton browser: you now can create a project there; the option won't be longer greyed out
