modulation midi effects

How about some more midi effects that can be mapped globally. Like LFOs and envelopes, with triggering on a selected channel and controlling another.

Buzz did this really well. One of my favorite Buzz machines basically just took snapshots of whatever parameters set it to, then it would put the snapshots into slots you could switch between with a midi. It was an amazing way to setup live situations. Complex changes in the mix, arpeggio patterns, effects etc. could all change simultaneously with the twist of a knob, you could even have an LFO step through the snapshots.

Yes, it would be fancy to have midi lfos and envelopes as midi effects, as well as envelope followers, pitch to "voltage" converters and comparators to get control signals from audio material, too!

Another nice idea is to have a snapshot module to switch or transform between different intruments/effects settings (switching by midi note or morphing via control).
