Burial's Vocal samples?

hey there,

i am listening to the album 'Untrue' by Burial and want to know where he gets his vocal samples, does anyone know? i really want to get my greasy hands on some vox like those!

I know at least one of them is from a movie (Ghostdog). Also, I read an article, which I can't find at the mo, where he was saying he has sampled his brother's lighter flipping open and movie bits for use as percussion elements.

Isnt taking Vox from movies illegal? wouldn't he have been attacked for that?

what about the more ambient 'singing' vocals?

as far as I know Hyperdub (the label) cleared the sample rights. Means, they asked for permission...

i know a few of the samples of singing are simply from mainstream r and b hits...t-pain and the like. pitch them down and there ya go.

wow, good find. i was wondering where that "couldn't be alone" comes from.
