EQ8 & Spectrum combined

i thought this would have been posted already but it be nice to have the background of EQ8(the black) actually have the option to be backlit with a frequency analyzer...
can i get an amen?

This makes perfect sense and would make the EQ sort of like gliss eq

An amazing idea, speeds up workflow and the interface that I love ableton for. This would be far more useful to me if they also gave EQ 8 a phase linear function and tidied it up a bit, as I don't find it much use on the master channel.

I'm obviously missing something
couldn't you rack an eq & spectrum? (I personally like how the eq is small but spectrum can be unfolded to be bigger than the eq)
..or are you talking about having a capture-eq-curve / apply-eq-curve feature like logic has?

I had made a request for 8 but ... nothing
So im asking again for 9 and giving a big + ;pp
Also dont forget the "slope" for cut's

Yeah this would be amazing...Always good to give a visual indication of what freq's you may need to boost or cut. Make it so!
