Hello to all off you
Since a while I can not recall the helpwindow in Live (left corner/bottom screen) If I try to recall it with the "view menu" almost nothing happens, something changes with the lay-out but I still cant expand the helpwindow.
Can someone enlight me on this one?

on the bottom left hand side there should be an arrow, if you click that you get the help window. Is that what you mean?

I know about the arrow, that worked fine, but under no condition I can recall the arrow. If I go with my mouse over that area, the arrow doesn't show up

i had the same thing - i can see the arrow, but clicking it does nothing,

live 6, btw.

try the shift+? key combo

Hello all!

I have the same problem. shift+? does NOT help.

I CAN see the arrow, but the frame of the effects only moves half a centimeter to the right. I dont see the info-screen.

Any new ideas. (I have 7.0.14 installed)

Hi there!

I just found a solution for this problem, in Live Suite 8.0.2 for Windows XP.
Just delete the file "Preferences.cfg" in the directory "Documents and Settings/Username/Application Data/Ableton/Live 8.0.2/Preferences".
The problem is that you will loose all your preferences, but the help window will be back ! It was very important for me, because I had to read some old track text info, as they appear in the same help window!

I had the same issue. However, in my case (Ableton 11) I just needed to enable the feature by choosing the main menu View item => Info. Then after the feature is enabled, you can show/hide the info window with Shift+? or with the arrow button at the bottom left.
