Ableton needs it's own dynamic convolution plug in, comps, revs, eq's, tapes

Would be cool

I don't think this will happen but it would be cool.

a simple convolution plugin would be great... but a dynamic one would probably crush your cpu (e.g. focusrite's liquid mix does all the processing onboard -- no cpu load), also, i don't know how useful that would be to most people... doesn't that take tons of crazy equipment to accurately capture a compressor, for instance? i'd just like a convolution reverb that you could load IRs into (so i can capture things like a tube preamp, distortion pedal, etc)... if they want to make it dynamic though, that would be cool...

Even a quite basic convolution reverb would be great, especially for those of us using OSX - we have less options for free/cheap convolution reverb.

+1 for convolution reverb

LAconvolver is a cool audio unit convolution reverb for free (sorry mac only, but PC users already have SIR).
