Ableton Christmas offer!?

Have you seen this:

"To celebrate Christmas, Ableton has announced a 25% discount for anyone purchasing Live 7, Live 7 LE or Suite before the 31st December 2008.
The 25% off deal also applies to users who wish to upgrade to the full version from Lite or LE versions of the software."

well nice.lately i have purchased licence to skip buggy 8 and rock with solid 7. allthough the offer should be > buy 8 and get 7 free. but solid 7 is amasing - great job ableton!

I sure hope they do this on the website. I am almost ready to to upgrade from Live 7 LE to the full suite and 25% would be the deal closer for me.

The upgrade price to the boxed Suite is $419 (US) in the Shop, but it doesn't say if that's a sale price or not.
Also, I thought Drum Machines was part of the Suite, but it's not listed? (just as well as I already have it, but curious...)

the upgrade from 7 LE to Suite is $709 in the shop and has been for at least the past month so pretty sure no new discount is showing.

Too bad owners of the full Live 6 are missing out again. I am disappointed, be it Ableton or Santa...
