Automating Parameters of ALBINO3 in Live7

Hiya all,
I don't know but this has probably been discussed before - I just couldn't find it here yet...
I have been trying to automate the ADSFR of the Albino3 - but it seems that the ADSFR-parameters seem to be parameters beyond the '128 parameter range' that can be automated in Live....
Does anybody have a clue how I could do this? I recently talked to the LiveSupportTeam - they told me to do it by changing internal settings of the Albino3 - but I have to admit I don't know how to do that.
Any suggestions????????????????? Would be sooo cool to solve that problem - I hope it will be possible in some way..
Thanks in advance for any tips or hints...
Greetz,
Nico

well you could always assign midi controllers to the Albino controls you want to automate and do automation trough midi cc. Maybe that's what they mean by changing the internal settings? (dunno why they'd give such a cryptic answer though)

- First, in Albino choose MIDI Learn
- Then, in Albino "move" the parameter/knob you want to assign
- Then, in Ableton "move" or "change" the CC envelope you want the Albino parameter to be assigned to
- voila!
- Don't forget to turn MIDI Learn off in Albino at this point

you still can't (as far as i know) record these automation tweeks tho..unless you resample the audio...not much good unless ur really tight with your moves or you dont mind it a bit loose.
i did try wrapping albino3 inside energy XT and re-assigning stuff within that..
still didnt work for me though..
maybe someone could enlighten?
i've since moved to using reaktor instead as you can easily change which paremeters come up within abletons 128 limit
but i miss albino for that really phat bass
Thx so much for ya help!

You probably didn't enable "Track Input" for MIDI. It doesn't come from the "Remote Input" like the other signals if you try to automate an instrument using its own MIDI Learn.

I've had this same problem and I'm glad to see the new Ableton will solve this problem.
