I wish I could see in a status box an update of things

Hey there Ableton!

Love your work. Here is a little suggestion for the box! :)

Playing with a track 32 long and I have so many things going on. At a point in my song I have an accidental change of settings somewhere and it took a really long time to figure out what happened and where. Just a device turned on for a second.

I thought "wouldn't it be awesome if there were a box I could enable which showed me a simple textual update of automations taking place"

For example:

---------------------------------------------------
1:32 => guitarTrack //Reverb // Reflect (increasing from -30db to 10)
1:38 => drums // eq8 // filter selector(2) off
1:38 => guitarTrack // guitar tube amp heavy(activate)

I imagine this sort of information is already being logged in order to do what ableton does. I can imagine it may be quite cpu intensive to do something like this and the information might need to be broken down or only display so much so that its not just flooded when there are heaps and heaps of changes in the tracks.

Just an idea!

Thanks for listening,

Bobby
