Why is everything MIDI playing in octaves?

Searched the manual.... can't figure out why when i play a c1 it triggers a c2 as well, etc. This doesnt happen if I use my computer keyboard to trigger MIDI. Im using a CME UF5 keyboard if that makes a difference, but the midi keys dont do this in other programs so I figure it's happening in the software.
