Bought a fudging Mac Pro about a month and a half ago (whilst still unemployed - thankfully that's not the sitch anymore, if you know your Kim Possible) and you know what? I'm delighted with the purchase.
Then there was SFX machine RT the other day - already have it for PC but tis a good buy on groupbuy.
All these sales/groupbuys etc are giving me serious GAS. Plus the DIY thing is really starting to blow up IMO - I'm itching to get an Arduino kit & maybe a Stribe or two. Santa has already been asked for a Wii controller

Just bought the NI xmas special "komplete 5 upgrade" and "kore 2 software upgrade"
at 50% off.
Also got a C. Bechstein upright piano...sweeet! at a super cheap deal!
About to get a Pearl Chad Smith signature snare drum 2nd hand at a great price too.
It's just a matter of searching harder for awesome deals!

I ordered an M-Audio KeyRig 49 last night (mostly for the keyboard, half-decent software is a plus). I'm ordering a BCR2000 soon too.
I might go for a Mopho closer to christmastime, since it's small and my Alpha Juno broke

Damn memory protect switch.

*see the group buy thread* And, yes. You should also get on the D16 'Classic Boxes' group buy.

Logic Studio last week!
Yamaha p85: (for my piano study and as a nice 88 key graded hammer action controller as a little bonus)
Thinking about Omnisphere and possibly a Muse Receptor (BTW, anyone here using a receptor? Does it live up to the hype as a live VSTi player?)
Yeah, so no financial crisis problems here ATM!

Currently waiting for updates to Mac Pro and Mac Mini (home entertainment unit). Also waiting for reviews of the Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 to see if it's worth getting.
Also going to look at a new car tonight.
I plan to beat the economic downturn with a two-pronged approach - inject needed cash back into the economy, and ensure that if the banks go tits-up that I have no money in savings to lose.
Just doin my bit.

Proper fucking credit crunch here!
I am making my own instruments.
Anyone try the biscuit tin drum machine? Or the coke bottle pan pipes? Or have been spending a lot of time with the Flute. The flute is recession proof.
