Monitors picking up FM radio?

How can I get my monitors to stop picking up the radio? I suspect it's FM because the announcers sound cheery.....
It diminishes sound quality and makes everything crackle!
The problem comes and goes but now it's driving me up the wall! Everyone seems to have something different to say about this. Anyone care to share what worked for them?
