Bypass Tempo for mp3 editing?

Hello all,
I have imported some mp3s into ABL7 so I can edit them. They're all old analog recorded studio stuff from the 90s and they're all at different tempo. I need them to all play back at the speeds they were recorded at because I'm going to chop different parts out and paste them together to create one "song sampler" mp3. Any suggestions?

Turn off the Warp. You can then drag the files in to the arragement and edit there. It's stupid that you cant use the session view's looping etc. without warping. Live's warp algorithm suck's monkey balls :(

If you set the clip tempo to match the global tempo so that the file is playing at its original tempo, then you can enable warp and use the clip loop functions and, depending on the warp mode, you will not suffer any decrease in sound quality. There was something about it in the manual or the fact sheet about which warp modes are good for this. I'm sure Repitch would be fine.
