need some assistance on how to load songs/audio to live 7

Hey there,
I was wondering if anyone can help me out here... I am trying to load up some songs from my pc into ableton live so i can slice it, mix it and just play with it but under my folders in Live i will find my music and artists but when i open their folder there is no songs. Can anyone tell me how to do this if i wanted to import songs from like a itunes library or a cd?
