Ableton Forum

Anyone know of a repository of premade dummy clips with different parameters (i.e. - fades, panning curves, stutters, etc)? I'd love to just have a bunch on hand to play with with while writing/jamming.

If nothing like that exists already, is anyone willing to post links to the ones they have?

i don't know of any.... I guess if it's a live clip it would also hold the effect into etc... so it actually could be pretty cool.

Keyfax Gridlok is a collection all kind of curves. It's officially for Logic but I have used it in the clip envelopes. Can't remember did I convert the files to standard midifiles. I think they are just midifiles.

Thanx for the remainder. I tried it last time with Live 5 and didn't know the about dummy clips. Now I will convert all curves to dummy clips.

Keyfax also sell Trance Gates etc. pre-made stutter midi fx + of course drum things etc.

Tom Cosm has made some ableton sets available. One in particular focusses on dummy clips & follow actions. It includes all the dummy clips mapped to the effects.
