I download a live pack that has some sampler patches. I do not have sampler but was wondering if there was a way to get those patches to work in simpler. They are .adg and .adv files.

I highly doubt it. Simpler is MUCH simpler than Sampler so if something's made for the latter how's the former going to make any sense of it?

Just save the money and buy Sampler.

I'm thinking maybe there are aiff files of the samples somewhere on the drive and you could drag those into simpler. I'm not sure though.

what about sampler makes it worth the upgrade?
