One more vote for NO, I love Live and I love the iPhone, but Live is not designed for such a small interface.

a little app for DJ's to warp tracks on the go would be cute though. I wouldn't mind getting my warping done on the bus/train/waiting room/toilet/hiding in your sister's closet/in the bushes by the jr high school etc. etc.

if JuSchu say no it s no
understand guys

anyway for me an interface like the I touch can make,is one
of the most important things i need

IZotope make the Idrum for the I touch
and it s maybe one of the best rythmic maker on the market

we need custom controler for live and
this apple shit is like a mini lemur

There's already iPhone apps out that you can use WITH liev that will give you Lemur like functionality if that's what you want. Check out itouchmidi or TouchOSC for the iPhone.

I know osctouch this is what i m talking about

I don t think it s a good idea to make a version of live on a I touch
but make a little soft for make an interested controller designed to
work with ableton
like 8 control for the knobs of a rack and when you change for another rack
you get 8 news knobs like the kore2
it s also possible to display the sample for drawing envellope

nobody s dreaming about touch the screen for launch a clip or change a volume?
or you re old school musician and work only with a mouse and nothing else.

WOW! Exactly what I would want! You have no idea what a pain in the ass it is to go to a gig and be warping tracks at the last minute. An iPhone app which could save the .asd files and then upload them wirelessly to the folder where you keep your tracks (through a direct PC to PC connection, at least in OS X this is done easily, and is what I use to connect Live with iTouch Midi, etc.) would be amazing.

itouchmidi is very fine as a controller.

but i think an actual LIVE app for making sound would be more interesting...

imagine you could compose music everywhere! plus the "touch"feeling of the iphone would be the best way to control live... i hope one day we'll get the "macbook touch" ;)

Try Intua Beatmaker or Noise I/O, this are great Music Programs for less money,... no Ableton, but also wirk propper for on-the-go...
