Not happy !!

I spent 4 weeks mixing and mastering this new tune and all of a sudden my arrangement view has emptied, even though i can hear the tune! the tracks are all there in session view.

Also, in arrangement view, the clip overview box is empty but again you can see it in session view.

I thought of exporting the tracks individually then uploading them into a new arrangement but i can't select how much of the tune i want to export.

Is there anything i can do to get it back to normal?

p.s. oh and when i try and do anything with arrangement view, it crashes on me.

no backups?

its all saved, just when i go back into it i cant see any midi notes or anything, i really want to export it as it is and replay it through a new project but i cant set the markers at the start and finish making this impossible.

how fucking annoying.

Sounds weird, which version and what kind of OS are you using?

version 7.1, I'm on a pc but a powerful one, I'm so confuzzled as this has never happened before.




Notice in the clip view at the bottom it says " 92 different clips in 23 tracks are selected".

If i click in the over view box it crashes out completely !!

while i was duplicating time, same happened to me today!
the arrangement disappeared because it seems like live went before bar 1.1.1.
which theoretically isn't possible, is it?
tried to set the follow switch, but nothing helped. the arrangement seems frozen.
when i click inside it, the position display shows some weird -..61.1.-1
trying to hit play within this area freezes live.





on the other hand playing in session mode works, and up in the overview bar i can see that the arrangement is still there. which means that either playing session or arrangement from position 1.1.1 is possible.





but when i switch back to arrangement mode, live still displays the "frozen" view with weird numbers in the bottom time line.






this is seriously scaring me the hell out!
any help is really appreciated.

at least, for now i was able to copy the complete tracks and paste them into a new project
