yep... use a translator to send mackie control to a virtual midi port...

+1, would like a key command to record-enable the currently selected track, for when the "mixer section" is hidden.

Ah, thanks and apologies. FYI it isn't listed on the keyboard shortcuts reference web page (linked below), and it doesn't appear in the "Info View" when hovering over the record enable button.
