Removing Emulated Midi Ports from config

For some reason I'm not so sure of, all of my midi ports in the Midi Config menu are showing up doubled now. It wasn't like this before. It now shows up as Midex port 1-8, and Midex port 1-8 (emulated).
Is there a way to remove the emulated ports from even showing up. I have two Midex 8's and it's totally cluttering up the menu with all the emulated versions of the ports.
