Hi,

I need to make an automation of the Detune (Cents) of a clip. How is this possible?

I use Live 7.

it´s not possible to automate the clip´s Detune parameter. You can automate Detune in a simpler device - so you could simply load your clip into an instance of Simpler, this however will affect the playback speed.

I have to say this has got to be one of the most simplistic concepts that has been left out for what reason??????

I recently entered a remix contest over at beatport and expected this very basic feature to be an option and was unable to utilize it.

Very odd and out of place for Ableton indeed.

yeah, a bit ridiculous....

entering midi map from the clip, detune is like the only damn thing you can't assign to anything. totally stupid.
