What am I doing wrong?

OK, I am not sure what I am doing wrong here, but I can't get samples to play the full length in simpler.

I downloaded some drum samples (WAV files) and when I drop them in a drum rack, it creates a simpler...the file only plays while the note is on. With all of the presets, the sample plays completely when you hit the pad.

I understand the built in samples are multi-sample, and that we aren't able to make these...but I don't understand how the fact that it's multi-sample translates to it playing the full way through.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Hi,

In Simpler, what are your settings for Start, Loop, Length & Fade as well as the Volume tab's Attack Decay Sustain Release?

They are all default...I don't see that any of them control the playing of the whole sample....but here's the list...

Start: 0%
Loop: 100% (Greyed out)
Length: 100%
Fade: 0% (Greyed out)

Volume Tab
A: 0ms
D: 600ms
R: 0dB
S: 50ms

Any thoughts?

one way to do it is to tweak the DSR knobs listed there to play a longer part of the sample after you let go of the key. Try that...
