I used to love reading Threads on dissecting tracks and people coming up with sweet Ableton or music and theory related shit. But all it seems to be now is product discussion, OT and noob threads, followed by anti-noob threads.
The most interesting thread i read yesterday was discussing Dithering.

I reckon it's because you were asking about accordions...
This forum can be broad-minded, but asking about accordions is beyond the pale...

You'd be surprised what David Torn can do with an accordion! But i concur that he's probably one of very few exceptions to the "no accordions ever" rule.

When Live 8 hits the streets, this forum will be teaming with life.
"What happened to feature X?"
"Why did they implement this new feature Y this way, when in Logic it's been like so and so since the dawn of man?"
"Why doesn't sidechaining the Vocoder work?"
"I'm holding out until version 8.0.10, I'm not a paying beat tester!"
"I don't like the new Drum Racks routing, OK, the old one was hard to learn, but I've just gotten the hang of it!"
"What the F*%k are crossfades?"
"I have two sounds overlapping on one audio track! Major Bug Alert!"
"Noob question: why does sidechaining not fun Benny Bennasi Vocoder?"
ad nauseum

But you can't have Tango music without an accordion (I love Tango music).

Despite everyone now hating on me for the GUI thread I posted.
I do agree Aequitas123 that this forum is kinda dry.
You would think people would run out of money and start posting about their work created with the awesome gear. Not to mention the sweat program we have in font of us all. (ABLETON LIVE)!!!
Its gotten so dry that I feel foolish posting my stupid shit in the "Lets make a bunch of nonsense thread" which I used to love doing.
In fact every thread I've posted in the last three months has been ether ignored or busted. ether by the Alpha male (I know everything you know nothing) or the I'm a sick teen and I hate everyone (Merilyn Manson is a fag) bullshit. Which by the way .... Found this this morning --->
