I've been moving clips between identical tracks in arrange on v7.0.14 and am losing the automation.

Steps to replicate:

Move a clip into arrange and record some automation
Copy or move the clip to a track with identical plugins (duplicate the track to be sure of this)
Clip is copied but all automation is lost

Why isn't the automation moved with the clip?

I know I can copy the automation separately or move it into the clip but this is a major pain.

Am I missing something or does this just not work?

Hi Matt,

the only way to copy the automation automatically between tracks in the arrangement is to duplicate the track, otherwise you have to indeed copy the automation envelopes separately.
