i think you could get most of his production techniques from any old jo from the ableton forums. He writes some proper wank music.

Yea Trevor horn, or aphex !
For the rest i don't really care, most of them are standard dance producers, a "in the studio with serie" must not have a dime a dozen producers, but innovators!!!

but who the hell *is* axwell? Never heard of him before, and his website is full of pretty non-descript music.
Someone like Aphex Twin would be able provide some REALLY interesting insights into the brain of a mad man, always fascinating, that

Never heard of Axwell?
thought you guys knew about music
anyway, everyone on that list has made LOTS of money from their records, and whether you like their music or not, they all could give you valuable tips on production and the industry in general from a professioal's viewpoint. don't know why you're dissing them
And anyway, even if I've never heard of the person on the Future Music disc, I usually get it anyway because it's always interesting and I always learn soemthing, no matter what the genre

Having looked him up now...
I know bugger all about that sort of music TBH mate. Not my bag at all.
And I'm not "dissing" the majority of producers on that list. I just don't like their music. Simple. Personal choice/taste.
And for some of us making music has NOTHING to do with "LOTS of money".

i agree money doesn't reflect skill, but it does mean people are willing to spend money on them, which means they're doing something right. it can never hurt to listen to guys who do what we all want to do for a living

how can you be so arrogant to turn down tips from someone who is touring the world and is incredibly successful and you're here posting on a message board at 5:01pm on a Friday?
