Hi,

So I was just checking out the video for the step sequencer included in the forthcoming Max for Live software - and I have a newb-ish question: where do the drum samples fit into this? I couldn't see any window showing where you load in your different sounds for kick, snare, and so on.

Sorry if this has already been answered. I was one of the many people requesting for a step-sequencer on this forum. I found them very fun to use after downloading the iDrum for my iPhone and was planning on buying the iDrum software VST. But now this one comes with Max for Live I might well just use that instead.

You load the sound in Drum Rack, the Step Sequencer just sends MIDI Signals. Its not a sampler in itself. At least not the one in the video.
