'I be flat'

I've decided to dust off my guitar for a change of pace. I'd like to know what you think!
Myspace seems to have squashed the sound as usual! Although, I tried putting it on virb.com, and that sounded REALLY bad!
Anyway, hope you like it.

I love the guitar stuff, just thought the drums could use some spicing up.

Thanks for that Polyslax. What do you recommend for some added spice? Compression? Or EQ'ing them more?

Just my own pref, but I was thinking more along the lines of effing them up a bit, maybe layering with another track of syncopated percs or blips 'n' such.

I like the idea. I'll work on that! What do you mean by 'effing'?

Sorry, effed up, as in f*cked up, glitched, messed up, get crazy with them.

Beattender,
I was feeling this track from the beginning...beautiful and twisted in a way. As per the drums I would, hate to say this, totally scrap them. The sequences are great. Its more the sounds themselves. I would keep the sequences and swap out the sounds for something more lo-fi, subtle, glitchy. I think the melody and the background drone/pad sounds are the heart of this track, and should be the focus, with the drums serving only to add some texture.
Please take these comments as simply my opinion. Its a great track as is!

Lovely. TBH the drums didn't bother me at all until I read the comments here! All sounds very nice on my Genelecs!

Thank you for the feedback! I like the idea of changing the drum sounds.
Any idea where I could get some decent drum samples from?
