OS X boot camp question

When running XP under boot camp does all hardware (midi controllers, audio interfaces) work as it normally would under XP? Is anybody running Live in XP with boot camp?
cool, thanks.vicz wrote:The only special drivers under boot camp are Windows drivers for the mac specific hardware you might have - isight, trackpad, etc. so in theory there should not be any problems. Although I have not tried Live under Windows everything else I have used, including games, audio interface, TV card have been absolutely fine. Under Bootcamp your apps have no way of 'knowing' that they are running on a mac.
I plan on running a Line6 Toneport UX8 (usb interface), MOTU micro lite (midi interface) and my controllers (padkontrol, axiom 61, and NI Kore)garyboozy wrote:firewire audio interfaces are the problem. i know some people have managed to get XP to recpgnise their interfaces via the microsoft hotfix patches, but they won't install here as theyre for SP2 and i'm on SP3, so i've personally had no luck with my Saffire LE - it just isn't recognised by XP.
I have a Macbookpro and run Live 7 with Windows XP all of the time.garyboozy wrote:firewire audio interfaces are the problem. i know some people have managed to get XP to recpgnise their interfaces via the microsoft hotfix patches, but they won't install here as theyre for SP2 and i'm on SP3, so i've personally had no luck with my Saffire LE - it just isn't recognised by XP.
