Good VST Meters?

Ableton Live has Spectrum, and it's not too shabby, a little basic, but a nice breakout meter that was VST based would be nice. Something along the lines of SpectraFoo (
http://www.mhlabs.com/metric_halo/products/foo/), or Spectre (
http://www.audiofile-engineering.com/spectre/), but for the PC.
The googles has told me nothing I want to know about so far. Anyone know of any good ones?

There was a free, cut down version on an old edition of MusicTech magazine, can't remember the date though.
Full version is $89

Can it be used as a VST plug-in?

I like this one. The demo version is very usable, and the full version costs just 5 euro.
The Jeroen Breebaart plugs are incredible at their price, even the free ones are very good. Windows only. Take a look.

Inspector XL by RN Digital is the best one I've used, pity about the price though ! (249 dollars) It is 6 plugins though with the option to run them through 1 'overview' plugin window or seperately.
* FFT Analyzer
* Spectragram
* Third Octave Analyzer
* Lissajous/XY, Vector and
Polar Phase Scope
* K-System Meter
* Digital PPM Meter
* Custom Metering
* Vertical and Horizontal
Level Meters
* Stereo Image(Mid-Side) Meters
* Balance Meter
* Correlation Meter
* Comprehensive Alarms for digital overs/clipping or phase issues
* Integrated Color Picker
* Completely Customizable
At least they have 50% off for educational licenses.
All DAW metering is basic and the only other good metering I've found is in Steinberg Wavelab.

I bought Inspector XL when it was still an Elemental Audio product and paid it about $80. Excellent tool! There is a free version too (Inspector) with limited functionality.

Thanks for all the feedback. NuGen looks closest to what I'm looking for, with Inspector a close second. Always open to ideas if they're out there.

blue cat audio do a nice free frequency analyser. the ability to 'zoom' the vertical and horizintal axes is great.

The free Inspector XL is still available.
The price range was better when elemental audio had it, Roger Nichols immediately hiked the prices - but to be fair, there are more plugins and more functionality in the RND INspector XL. Although the elemental Inspector XL will be more than fine for most applications, especially straight metering.

Another happy Inspector XL owner who's gald he got the $79 price. Sonalksis Free-G is a good metering plug in that's free. Spectre by Audiofile Engineering is very nice for the price too.
