I wonder what happens with Sampler, Operator, Electric, Analog, Tension and Drum Machines, when you update from Live Suite 7 to Live 8?

Good question.
Maybe they expect you to upgrade to Live 8 Suite.

When you upgrade to a new version all your instruments are upgraded at the same time for no extra cost. That is how it always worked in the past.

The exception is the EIC sample pack which only gets updated if you buy the boxed version of the upgrade.

Correct. Isn't EIC still on version 2 for this release though? May not need upgrading.

I know upgarde from 7 suite to 8 suite adds the latin perc and collision on both download and boxed version. Not sure about the new library. Box only?

Yeah, not sure what the situation is with EIC in Live 8, they don't say much about it.

I guess it depends on how you got your Live 7. If you bought a download upgrade from Live 6 (like I just did 5 minutes ago !!!!) then you will still be on EIC 1.
