I noticed while I can drag an audio clip that is already within session view onto the groove extract box, I can't drag the same clip from one of my default bookmark sections (1,2 or 3). So I need to drag the clip out onto session view, then back onto the groove extract. Shouldn't I just be able to drag it straight down?

We need to know about the warping and such for Groove analysis, and samples in the Browser can either be analyzed or not. Also, the clip and loop length are taken into account. It seems it makes sense to extract groove from clips that are already in your set.
