hullo!

does anybody know if there's such a thing as a usb to midi converter that allows you to run a korg nanokey (or similar) as a standalone midi controller which can communicate with harware via a standard midi cable?

i am looking for the smallest, neatest midi controller that can control harware via a standard midi cable (see http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php? ... highlight= - had a couple of thoughts since then).

thanks for your time!!!

I can't find what Rinko is looking for...
All I see are Laptop->USB->MIDI cables/converters.

What Rinko is searching for is
NanoKey(USB powered)->miniUSB->MIDI
without using a laptop. Don't know if that
exists, but it has to be powered in some kind,
because the nanoKey is USBpowered...

Oof, sorry.

I was thinking of the MIDI to USB cable connecting the hardware to the laptop. Then pluggin the nanoKey into the laptop. Then work out the MIDI routing for controlling the hardware.

As far as a direct MIDI to USB cable? Never seen one.
