A simple thing i would like: i want to be able to start and stop the samples in tracks by clicking on the arrow. Now i start by clicking the arrow, but stop a certain sample by clicking on the track-number. So let start and stop be the same button!

the play button on each clip is not only used to start a clip but also to return to zero. so it can be used to make a long loop shorter which to me is an essential feature.

You can do this by changing the Clip's Launch mode to "Toggle". What's missing, howeve, is a way of having this be the default selection.
