Hi,

You've got the "create analysis files" option turned ON in the Preferences, right?

Hi,

When is it that you don't get analysis files? When putting a sample into the set? Or when previewing? We do not create analysis files when previewing.

no analysis..
Or when previewing?
also no analysis..

?? has this changed with 8?
Live has always created analysis files when you preview samples..

aah.. I got it..
forget all I said..

I didn't realize L8 does not analyze on preview..
this changed from L7.. so that was the first confusion..

however..
not all samples get the 'analyzed' icon immediately..
thats the second confusion..
with some samples I first have to for instance close/reopen its folder to see the 'analyzed' icon..

We don't anymore, because it avoids creating asd files everywhere if all you do is checking out some samples. That should not change much from the user experience else.

So that's the real issue. Was different in Live 7? We once fixed something similar on PC, but it was the opposite: deleting the asd file from the hard drive did not reflect immediately in the Live Browser.
