I think this is related to the way very short warped clips in Live have this "jump" to a fixed minimum length, and then you can't reduce their size by dragging the edge (but you can do it with splitting/cutting). Here's a video of what I'm talking about (at first I am dragging the right edge slightly to the right and the clip jumps, then I am trying to drag the edge back to the left, unsuccessfully):

This certainly seems like a bug, and maybe I should open a separate thread for it, but it's been in Live for several major versions.
