Using both the nanokey and the nanopad for everything you said. The nanopad is a really good product! Love them!

My NanoKontrol should be arriving in a week or so. I'm planning on using it to suppliment my Remote Zero for DJ'ing. Later in the year I'll probably replace the Zero with an APC, but keep the NanoKontrol as a supplimental controller.

I can't see myself using the NanoKontrol much in studio, as I already have bigger midi bits that I'm used to. If I had a NanoPad, I'd probably use the XY thing, as I don't have one of them on any other gear (apart from iPhone)

NanoKey doesn't interest me at all.

The Nanokey would be the one I really have a use for, but I've heard terrible things about them. I'm always looking for more opinions, so if anyone reading this owns one I'd like to hear about your experience.

I use my nano kontrol for mixing in Live, but obviously not for big projects. It's also nice to have some knobs and faders for working with instruments. like last night I was working on a Sampler instrument and mapped some of the controls. I also use it to DJ with Serato.

I use a nanocontrol to play live - with an automapping script for blue hand action. PM me if you want the text file... if there's a deluge of requests I'll motivate myself to post it on the interweb.

That would be most interesting to me? How does it work, i already have a blue hand for my microKontrol and use the buttons on the nano for switching effects banks, i'd love to be able to use the faders and knobs for something else, but then i realise that if i've already got the first rack covered what good would another automap be????

and I own a nanokey and kontrol, and they are great!
if your looking for weighted keys and a piano that plays nice, don't go near the nanokey, but if you want a mega portable keyboard to trigger vst's it doesnt get more portable than this!

I've just ordered a NanoKontrol. Should be here tomorrow.

I find that these days I do most of my creative stuff on the sofa while my wife watches TV, or at the dining room table with football on the radio in the background.

As such, I need a small controller for tweaking stuff. I've really started getting into key commands for the same reason. Added to the possibilities of using Wii controllers that I discovered over the weekend, and the ability to set attack/release times for the Nano K's buttons... well, I reckon I could have all the control I need right there on the coffee table

I am finding more and more that limiting what I can control to a few parameters is much more inspiring.

Is it correct that the nanos come with their own drivers ?
I have problems with all USB-MIDI devices that use the
Windows driver (because of my integrated webcam...long story...)

best $100 I spent in a while. got the key and kontrol. I use them at work during lunch or when students don't show up. crank up live and get right to work. originally bought the axiom 25 for this purpose but i can't fit in my axio hardshell bag. now i can fit my macbook and two nanos in there. fucking great

I had a similar issue with my HP and its integrated webcam, so I just uninstalled the camera's drivers.

Good, cheap product. I use mine for effects in Live and djing in deckadance

I received my NanoKontrol a few days ago, combined with nanoLive, it rocks ! This video on Youtube is worth looking for those who haven't seen it yet.

Beside, I use the nanoKey for transposing midi clips, so that all the keys of my master keyboard remain free ; I'm still building the Midi Effect Rack for it (all the scales, major & minor etc...).
