I started listening, then I realized what Bale was yelling about (if you've ever worked on a film set, you know that some jackass walking on to a set in the middle of shooting - ESPECIALLY in the middle of a movie like T4 that is expensive to make and has single scenes that cost into the hundreds of thousands - deserves to get yelled at and fired, although it should be the director doing the yelling/firing), and then I realized that the address bar says "tmz" in it, and I had to back up and express disappointment that anyone here is even aware of that show beyond commercials in the middle of the Simpsons. I'd fire my audio guy and have him blacklisted, too, for selling that audio clip...that's the kind of shit that gets you bounced from movie studios worldwide for the rest of your life.

I'd also bet money that Bale is a producer for that movie as well...you don't get pissed like that if it's not your money/ass/career on the line. I mean, come on, if some moron wasn't paying attention in your controlled environment and cost you thousands of dollars, you'd fire that asshole, too, right after yelling at him like Bale did at that guy.

I also love the irony in how tmz endorses the same thing they ridicule - celebrity lifestyle. Those guys deserve every punch, crushed foot, lawsuit, broken camera, gouged eye, gunshot, broken jaw, and hospital bill that they get, and here's hoping that California criminalizes stalking for profit.

These people need jobs at Walmart for a year or 2, and then see how they want to act.

I love the new millenium! Someone's doing a line, or crossing the line, or messing up their lines, someone else is taping it and posting it on the 'net!

Classic stuff! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Whoa, that's crazy....

The guy who he was yelling at was...

The Director of Photography! The one in charge of camera! They weren't shooting - it was most likely during a rehearsal that the DP was walking thru and adjusting lights and for some reason it just ticked off Christian. It's not unusual for a DP to adjust lights during rehearsal - in fact, it's standard...

classic ego power trip.... there is no excuse for Mr Bale to be allowed to yell at the DP like that.... its just a movie... his tirade cost more than any mistake the DP made. What a dick

Sounds like they were shooting to me. He says "Let's go again" a few times and even comments that it's not worth anything now. Actors don't go that apeshit over a rehearsal. But I've never heard an actor (and I've worked with quite a few primadonnas) go off on a DP like that. I thought that was some random grip or something until he said DP. Never an excuse to be like that to anybody. Yikes!

I've confirmed it's authentic and from the set of Terminator Salvation, the Warner Bros movie coming out this year. Flming at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico on July 18th last year, Bale goes off on the director of photography Shane Hurlbut whom the actor accuses of ruining a scene by walking onto the set. Bale threatens to quit the production if the DP isn't fired. The audio's release may have been an act of revenge: celebrity gossip website TMZ claims that "film execs sent the tape to the insurance company that insured the film in case Bale bailed." This rant took place just days before Christian was questioned by London police about an alleged fracas with his family around the time that The Dark Knight was released. I talked today to a source close to Bale who told me, "Christian and the DP are all good now. It happened. It was one isolated event. He regrets that he lost his temper."

Yep, I think you're right - It'd be great to see what the shot setup was that the DP had to adjust a light in the middle of a take!
