To use your laptop outside in the sunshine and still have a good view of your desktop, in Macs anyways, hit ctrl + option + Apple + 8 it will reverse the colors (much like the "negative" effect on cameras ) Makin your screen WAYYYYYYY easier to see in the sunlight

Very usefull if you are outside say, DJing at a festival or whatever and are having trouble seeing what you are doing !!

my friend was telling me about the windows version....they claim its easier on the eyes too. if i remember right.

Not only a really handy tip, but it looks really nice too... futuristic Ableton skin with no fiddling!
