Thanks!

the pad is Cello and acoustic guitar reversed and run through Abletons resonator! If that makes listening any more interesting.

1. The music is very nice. An early FLoyd vibe going on.

2. The website needs a preloader for the preloader, lol. Load time is horrid.

:D

Thank you!

And yeah the website is problematic. I think he's teaching himself to make it.

Hey man, this sounds really good to my ears;
I wonder what kind of mastering this track has ...
would you care to elaborate ... who? or how? with what plugs? anything helpful.
many thanks,
-h

Thanks for the props!

No mastering. It was all done myself.

Its a few cello and acoustic guitars, processed as i said above. Bass guitar straight in, then two vocals. I can't recall any effects other than on the pad. There may have been slight compression on the master, but i dont remember putting it there.

Ya, its pretty minimal. All done in Ableton.

So all those 'mastering' threads, which go on for dozens of pages, were a huge help to you then?

Sounds great to me. Good production. Good sounds. I would have made the bass softer/more acoustic sounding somehow, but that's just personal taste. Good vocals too. Is that one person or 2?
What's the synth/moog-ish sound at the end?
Excellent work. Gives me hope that my own rock-ish music can be done all in ableton.

Thanks!

The bass was intended to be very prominent. It wasn't processed at all, just my old Peavy Milestone through my bass head and straight in.

As for vox, its one person with two tracks.

As for the synth at the end, i can't remember exactly, but i'm fairly certain its Operator.

sounds great to me on my mbp speakers, but listening to it with my sennheiser hd 25 blablabla headphones there's like a muddinness in the low mids of the vocals i would say, they could be a bit more airy IMveryHO...

Anyways, very good work! :P

Appreciate the input. I didn't really listen to it on many speakers. perhaps i should try it.

You're welcome!

All my tracks have that kind of muddinness I describe, so I'm being a bit obssessive I guess... :?

Keep making music man, you're talented.
