Two questions: cpu and digi rack 002
May be a noob question, but I was curious about if an audio interface, depending on its quality, has to do with cpu usage in Ableton Live, or does it all have to do with my cpu in general? My second question is im planning on buying a digi rack 002 which will replace my mbox 2, I've heard many latency problems about the digi rack 002, if any of you have experience with it, is it a pretty much crap or a reliable interface?

I used an 002 for a few years and it was pretty decent. The latency wasn't bad, but usually noticeable. The latency is inherent with all FireWire interfaces.
The 002 had it quirks. The buttons on the front for the high pass filter are kind of lame. It's hard to tell if they're on or off. But all in all I got some really good sounds with the 002.
