Playing collision for a while makes audio shut off

Been playing collision for the last half hour and twice it has made the audio shut off completely. Not just the audio from collision but in all of Live. Even replacing collision with another instrument wouldn't make sound. I found that I had to switch the ouput audio driver to no device and then turn it back on to get sound back.
