- Running 7.0.1

- Tascam Fireone interface

- CPU stays around 8-9% even during this problem

- Windows 2000 and XP, better audio performance in 2000 so usually stay there

- Running minimum services

- Tried disabling network = no change

- No delay, and overall latency 15.0 ms.....just missed notes (example all 8th notes fine and zero delay... 16th notes only play the first one... then skip)

- All quantization off

- Midi sync = Defaults seem to work best, any changes seem to make it worse (actual delay + original problem )

- Changing the buffer size = same problem

- Upping the sample rate = same problem + audio STUTTER

- Changing from Directmusic to MME = little (if any) difference

Everything else is working AMAZING.... I don't even know for sure if this can be called latency ?

Hi IQ,

download and install Live 7.0.14 from here:
www.ableton.com/latest_versions

Choose an ASIO driver for your Fireone Interface (download the latest version of the driver from the Tascam website).

Best,
Jörg

Done and done... still the same problem.

Only difference is that my Fireone Control pad / jog wheel now works in the GUI (Nice !)

I narrowed it down to something to do with aftertouch / channel pressure data but I don't know how to turn it off
