But seriously...
Ive been using this since 1998 and never got tired of it. Aside from the JP 8080, this is the last great synthesizer that Roland has manufactured (IMO).

The Farfisa VIP233. We've had this machine in our arsenal since 1972. Love the sound, but thank goodness we no longer have to schlep it around to gigs.

Hey - see that brace between the two triangular Farfisa legs, with the word Farfisa printed on it... if anyone knows where I can get one, please let me know. I need one for my VIP400.
I'll probably end up having to make one, but it'd be nice to have the actual part.

Yamaha RY-30! might not still be considered ahead of its time, but it's still great for quick drum sequences and I haven't found better drum pads. With the little mod-wheel even the onboard digital waveforms can be used to create some cool blips and beeps.
