[awi] Live hates dual screen mode

I normally use an LCD screen with my laptop off to the side and only use the LCD
I tried to choose "extend my desktop onto this monitor" on the laptop's own LCD in windows (XP SP3) and as soon as I do that Live disappears - meaning it still has an outline but inside is the windows desktop and other application windows
I'm trying to view live on the external LCD

Hi Forge,
Does this still happen with beta 17? Does Live come back to life if you minimize and and then maximize it again?

Amaury

Hi,
I think I have a similar monitor set-up. I'm using a laptop running Vista and an external LCD. If I understand the issue correctly - Live disappears on the external monitor - then it's working OK for me (8b17). I can shift the application window between monitors with no problem.

I'm XP Pro SP3 - NVidia GeForce GO 7200 graphics - HP Pavillion notebook
I have everything on the LCD and am trying to use the Laptop's own LCD as the 'extended desktop'

Aha, gotcha. I think. I have the application window on the external desktop and plugin interfaces get moved to the laptop desktop. But I can move the Live window to the laptop desktop without any problems. Maybe it's an XP thing then.

Hi,
I believe that is fixed right? Didn't you have another thread with the exact same title?
