cross platform xp and mac

I mainly use a mac but have a certain windows only vst I want to use for one track, can i record this on my laptop then save it and use it on my mac, I have 6 lie on the laptop and 7 LE on the mac, what would be the best way to do it, its mainly for vocals.

I would use a midi interface: Midi out from your Mac to midi in of your PC, then route the audio output of the pc to the input of your Mac. Then deal with the Latency by adjusting with the delay compensation on the midi track.
Another cool thing is the V-Machine from Smpro audio (It is PC/Mac compatible)
Also Check Fxteleport if it is Mac and Pc compatible.
