Bear in mind that you need to set up a project folder in live 8 to enable audio tracks to be armed as otherwise a message comes up stating that temp project folder cannot be made in 7.14?

Hi,

You should not have to do that. If a temp folder could not be created, or used, there may ba some authorization problem. If you're using Mac OSX, you could try repairing permissions on you disk. Otherwise, we'd need more details to help you.
