We've got live sets, library, saparate sample folder on the system disk, another one on an external. Dropping samples on the desktop from a browser. Sound files in a project folder for a website or something. Samples in a movie project your doing sound edits for, etc, etc.

To many folders you could say.

I say give us the option for more folders then 3 in the browser. I've got and 24" monitor I could put 10 folders there and still scroll like a madman.

Make it optional in the preferences please!

Yeah, there are always bookmarks to help things a little but definitely more fixed folders in the browser would be pretty cool for instant browsing between multiple (temporary) directory paths.

Or having these extra folders as "custom" directory paths which could be remembered on a per Live set basis, so you can browse to the same directory paths as the last time you've saved+closed your set... (could be a prefs thing)

And why not, the option to assign shortcuts (mac/pc keyboard or midi controller switches) to each of them for even easier browsing experience
