Midi controllers ffwd button

Hi!
In the Midi keyboard which I am using at the moment, there are recorder buttons like play, stop, rec etc.
Two button ffwd >> and bwd << does not have a function to which them could be straight midi mapped.
According some article that i read, that kind of function is in some controllers, could it be done by using certain CC numbers?
