Arrangement time signature markers are no longer editable
reproduce
- in arrangement right click in the top bar and use the context menu to insert a time sig change
- in any of the sig markers which have now appeared right click and choose "edit time signature" from teh context menu
- doe the sig marker take a black 'edit' background and become editable?
Live 7.14 result = yes
Live 8 beta 12 result = No
it is not possible to edit time signatures in Arrangement in beta12

ah sorry, I missed that report.
just a note - you can still edit the sig if you have your arrangement playhead at the correct marker you want to edit, then you alter the sig via the main sig type-in box, near the master tempo.
It's a bit fiddly, but it helps out as a workaround until this is fixed.

I right click to open the menu.
select Edit Time Signature.
I enter '5/6' and it shows up as 5/8 (multiple times)
I enter '4/4' and that's fine.
I more and delete it, everything's fine.

OT:
I gotta try properly abusing time signatures. bass is great fun in weird timings.

hmm,weird.
I'm not on an L8 machine at the mo' so I can't check but I'm pretty sure it was still broken in the most recent version for me because a song I have been working on has 3 bars of 7/8 and then one bar of 9/8, repeating. So that means I'm often reaching for this.
I'll try it again tomorrow, perhaps it is fixed in b14 and I missed it.

Hi,
I can't reproduce that on PC with beta 14: I can edit a time signature marker either via the context menu or using the CTRL R shortcut. Can you give it a try in b14?
Edit: I just saw that the corresponding bug is fixed. So, you should not be able to reproduce it in beta 14. Let me know if otherwise.
Regards,
Amaury

Hi,
5/6 is not a valid time signature. The second number can only be 1,2,4,8 or 16.

I confirm that this time-sig editing bug is fixed in B14
thanks
