[amo] rename locator broken / problematic set

Post by scientist » Tue Feb 24, 2009 5:18 am

can't rename locators, either by command-r or contextual menu selection. also, selecting a new locator contextual menu resulted in force quit.

BUT: i'm getting this error and a few others in one particular set that just happens to contain tons of clips and about an hour's worth of arrangement automation. this set fails miserably in b13 - hence i'm experimenting in b12. just curious if this information is still useful or if its possible that some sort of corrupt set could skew testing results.

been having issues renaming a locator as well.. had a set with 4-5 un-named locators, and since i got in at beta 10 any additional locators start their numbering convention at say '6' - when there's no other locators given names/numbers. they cannot be renamed either.

Hi,

Locator problems have been identified and confirmed here:
http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=108330

Please check the next beta, these Locator issues should be fixed. That said, I'm not sure you're just talking about these problems here, so, let me know after the next beta if you still experience problems described in that thread.

Hi,

I moved the thread away, assuming that it is not a problem anymore. Please open a new thread if you experience something similar again.
